In this example, Groupon sent a push notification not only to let the user know about an offer that they might be interested in, but also attaching how close it is to you.
Why we think this is a good push notification:
A clear and simple offer with the added context of how close it is to you. While we don’t know what the engagement and redemption rate of the offer, but it would be interesting to see how the inclusion of how close an offer is to you affects purchases. A/B testing your push notifications can definitely help you understand whether it’s effective or not.
