A/B Test Idea: Test number of fields
How many fields are just enough for your forms? Generally, the less there are the better, however, in some instances it depends. There might be certain instances where you generally want your leads to fill out more info to drive more commitment to a product that you know is valuable and people want it.
While the easiest is requiring a newsletter field, for something like a Request a Demo form, you might want to add more fields in order to qualify you leads better.
Why we think this is a Good A/B Test:
Forms generally are viewed as a source of friction. For some of your forms that have more fields to fill out, maybe defer some fields that aren’t necessary at another point to capture that information once they’ve converted or use methods like progressive profiling to break up the capture of information over different forms.
