A/B Test Idea: Experiment on length of free trial
Whether your product is B2C or B2B, if you offer a free trial as, what’s the optimum length of your free trial? 1 week? 2 weeks? 1 month?
Typically your free trial should give enough time for your user to use it and understand its value for their trial expires. If it’s a particularly technical product and needs developer resources and integrations to work, you might want to consider testing a trial period that’s a bit longer.
But as with free trials, there aren’t any guarantees there will be a higher conversion rate to your paid plans or product if you offer a longer trial so this is a ripe opportunity for experimentation!
