Twitter sends push notifications to let you know what tweets are popular in your network

In this example, Twitter sent out a a tweet that was popular amongst their social network on Twitter.

Why we think this is a good push notification:

The copy on this push is deliberately vague. So 170 others liked this tweet? “What was it about..?” *Tap*.. and you’re into the Twitter vortex spending more time than and attention than you originally anticipated.
