Netflix sends a push notification to let you pick up where you left off

In this example, Netflix sent a notification with custom actions to allow the user to continue watching on a different screen, download it or view other movies in their list.

Why we think this push notification is good:

It’s great on a few fronts – it truly allows for cross-channel engagement where if the user was watching the movie on their TV and then was commuting, it allows for a seamless transition between screens. For those who might commute by subway/tram, the user can download the movie to their device so they don’t have to incur any data charges and watch seamlessly.
