Groupon drives revenue to site wide sales with push notifications
Groupon is a deal of the day local commerce app that was popularized with the group buying boom in the early 2010’s. In this example, Groupon lets their users know that they have a site wide sale that ends at the end of the day.
Why we think this push notification is good:
There’s a clear call to action with the coupon easily memorable code to redeem as well as a time constraint slapped, which can trigger FOMO to at least see what’s deals are to be had.
