MyFitnessPal sends push notifications to nudge you to log your meals.

MyFitnessPal is leading fitness app that lets you log calories for the meals you have to achieve your fitness goals and is owned by Under Armour. In this example, MyFitnessPal sent a push notification to remind their users to log their dinner, which is the point of the app so you know how many calories you’re consuming to be able to hit your weight goals.

Why we think this push notification is good:

MyFitnessPal leverages push notifications as an extension of the app to help build the habit of logging your meals consistently. By helping remind and build the habit, users are able to get value of the app over time as they can better understand what they’re consuming to stay on track with respect to their weight/fitness goals. Kudos to the MyFitnessPal product team for making their push strategy an extension of their product strategy. ⚡️
