In this example, Foursquare recognizes you’re back in a city you’ve visited before and sends you a push notification with a recommendation of what you might be interested in according to your previous check-in history.
Why we think this push notification is good:
Not only is Foursquare recognizes a user is back in a city they’ve visited before, but they’re personalizing it by leveraging the person’s geolocation, and also using their previously searched activity to recommend something that might be up the user’s tastes (mac and cheese).
