DoorDash sends a push notification to get feedback
DoorDash, one of the leading food delivery apps in North America, was one of the hottest tech IPOs and publicly listed on the NYSE in 2021. In this example, they’ve sent a real time push notification to get feedback to understand how the order went.
Why we think this push notification is good:
Because it’s a critical point in understanding whether or not the delivery was satisfactory for the customer or not, DoorDash has sent a quick notification to solicit feedback and give their Dasher and food a rating for their overall experience. This sort of rich feedback allows the DoorDash product team to understand every touch point of the order in order to understand whether there were any issues from ordering the food all the way to the qualify of the food. It’s this sort of obsession over the customer experience that will keep their customers loyal and food delivery companies stay on the cutting edge of the food delivery space.
