Feedback App sends push notifications to users food at a location near them was just discounted

Feedback App is a Canadian based app that lets you order food for less, while reducing food waste by helping their vendor partners divert any excess waste that would have been thrown away if it wasn’t sold by end of day. In this example, Feedback App sent a geolocated push notification to their users that some food items were made available for discount in their immediate area.

Why we think this push notification is good:

There’s a few things going on with this push notification that we think is great. First it leverages geolocation coordinates so it’s only pulling in locations that are immediately within the users walking vicinity. Second, they’re emphasizing that the food items are for discount and it’s a win-win situation where both the vendor is still able to recoup their expenses otherwise they would throw it out.
